Question for Makeup Users

I am constantly on the hunt for a lipstick/stain/gloss that actually doesn't smudge off, at least, not quickly. I'm not expecting 12 hours of use, but like...5-6 would be nice? I have one brand that I really like, but if only comes in pinks, which are nice, but sometimes the occasion calls for a deep red (which I like to call "Disney Villain Red"). I've looked through articles online, read user reviews, and asked for recommendations from friends. I basically end up with either reds that wipe off (and end up on my teeth/face), brands that don't have reds at all (or just have very orangey red, which doesn't go well with my skin tone), or products that cost $40.

Anyone have luck with this kind of thing? Guide me in the right direction! I tend to prefer a liquid, but if you know of a stick that works really well, I'll take your word for it!
