Re: Introductions thread!
Hi, I'm aennilla.
I've been lurking for years at DNL.com, the articles and especially the comment section have been a great help to me.
I'm a 42 yo mom, in a relationship with boyfriend for about a year now.
Basically I like cats (have one), comics (BIG Marvel fan, love the movies and shows), webcomics, crafts (mostly crocheting, Pinterest junkie), books (detective stories, sf and fantasy) and going to physiotherapy (I have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and yes, I actually like PT. Surprised myself there).
Sort of new to this, been reluctant to sign up, but this seems like a really nice place.

Hi, aenilla! Welcome.
Is physiotherapy the same as physical therapy? If so, I liked it when I was in it for months after my pregnancy, so you're not alone in liking it.

Re: Introductions thread!
Thank you Wondering!
Yes, I'm training with a physiotherapist a few times a week to build muscles that hopefully will keep my joints from dislocating all the time. In theory it will help with the pain too, but no such luck yet.
Lots of nice people in my group (most of them older), and actually the place where I met my bf.

Re: Introductions thread!
Hi there forum.
I'm Dragon Eats Knight Checkmate, except in large letters and all crammed together.
I'm a bit of a snarky dragon fan. I try to only be sarcastic in a humorous, non-threatening way (debates notwithstanding).
I love reading, movies, tv, racquetball, writing, attempting to make art, music of all kinds, philosophy, gaming, and probably scores of other things that I can't spend all day typing up
Still barely looking around but thanks for having me.

Re: Introductions thread!
Hi! I'm Sahrimnir, or Karl-Kristoffer. Some of you might remember me from the old forum. Somehow I didn't find out until today that this new forum exists.
I'm a 27-year-old Swedish guy. I've got a degree in social psychology and am currently working as a... well, my job title in Swedish is "elevassistent", which translates to "student assistant". Basically, I help kids with learning disabilities in school. I actually just started at this job five days ago.
In my free time, I enjoy pretty much anything that could be considered "geeky"; video-games, comic books, table-top RPGs, fantasy books etc. I also do improv theatre and am politically active.

But it lets the rest of us feel like we're eavesdropping on something secret, which is exciting for us (Also, welcome/welcome back!)

Ja, jeg ville nok ha blitt en dårlig hemmelig agent.

Re: Introductions thread!
Greetings. I'm a longtime reader of Dr. Nerdlove, just turned 34 in July, and find the content of the site quite interesting.
I've lived all over the US due to my line of work (active duty military) and in my spare time enjoy fanfiction writing, weightlifting, jiu jitsu, and reading fiction, history and philosophy.

Thank you. I might do a few posts on how to get started at the gym, using my own story.

Re: Introductions thread!
Hey, I missed you folks so I thought I'd pop back and say hello! This place was sort of important to me when I began my transition and my current life began, so I wanted to see you all now that I've been on HRT for 6 years and everything seems to be pretty good and I've kind of become who I wanted to be!
