First, and most importantly, please don't hurt yourself.

Second: If you're in crisis, that matters, and you deserve to have real, professional help to get through this. The people you will reach by posting on this forum are just some people on the internet, not experts, and we aren't equipped to give you all the support you need to keep yourself safe and start to recover.

So if you're in danger of hurting yourself, you need to get help from qualified professionals right away - rather than posting here, please call your local emergency number, go to an emergency center, or call a crisis hotline right now. If you're suffering from depression, severe anxiety or other mental health disorders:

Welcome! You're not alone in this. You're really, really not alone! Lots of people here are dealing with stuff like this or have dealt with it in the past, so by all means talk about what's going on with you, seek encouragement and share tips on what helps.

But depression, anxiety and the like can be tough; again, the people on this forum, as friendly and supportive as they can be, are not a substitute for a trained mental health professional, so please do seek out a professional to help you manage this as well.
